After much investigation I have decided Mooji aka Paul Moo is a clever Charlatan...Sadly he doesn't seem to understand Sadhana or rituals...He is eloquent and appeals to the instant gratification fast food type of teachings liked by many...There are some references to him and Marijuana on the net as well..true or not t...rue? My feeling are that he is really a Tamasic teacher masquerading as a guru...he may even believe that his feeling are Love but deep down the Tamas is shining through...even tinged with some ridicule and anger...I would say that his guru job is preventing a mental breakdown in him, giving his ego free rein--- a sort of occupational therapy....His devotees are the usual mindless well diggers trying to create a god to worship so they can also perhaps go out to the UK or Russia and also give satsangs or write books....Like Jimmy Swaggart he throws in the real teachings...to sound good...Nowhere near being a Mukta...He even has a video
which he has entitled 'The lazy way to enlightenment, where he ridicules sadhanas and pujas.....He is essentially a narcissistic spiritual fraud with some very strong Tamasic and paranoid tendencies.....not a happy person...just a happy projection. Followed essentially by the same type of fools..........

Check youtube for lazy man's enlightenment    mooji

Is that really true? Is it possible that you're projecting? What do you really know bout Moo-ji's state? I agree that there are far too many lazy enlightenment "Gurus" out there who seem to think, and that's what it amounts to, just thinking, that there is no need for sadhana, that a simple shift of perspective will usher in a sufficient and lasting transformational unfolding. I don't believe the majority of Youtube neo-advaita talking heads really have anything more worthwhile to say than the next serious advaita student. The obvious difference is that some know better than others where the depth of their understanding is relative to their masters, and would not take it upon themselves to masquerade as a master prematurely, misleading others, however benevolent the intentions may be.

My sense is the same about him and other delusional satsang gurus who set up shop in Tiruvannamalai. As an aside, this phenomenon of non-native Indians adding the suffix "ji" to their names is very amusing, ridiculous even. Mooji, Gangaji..  It's like calling yourself "My Excellency" - ridiculous!  In India "ji" is never used to refer to yourself, only while addressing a second person (usually older or wiser) respectfully similar to the Japanese "san".

I have understood that "ji" is simply a term of endearment, applied to respected elders, kings and queens, yes, but also to one's dear friends. I'd agree with you however about giving yourself that suffix. Yes, kind of silly. But again, I don't know if Ganga or Moo gave themselves these titles. It may be their friends in the Tiruvannamalai Poonja camp called them "ji" long before they set up shop as teachers. What's more amusing to me is that all these folks claim spiritual descent from Ramana's lineage, through Poonja. It's like little matchsticks claiming they're light shines like the sun.

Yeah I rechon hes a fraud too, bigtime, he doesn't know he is pretending, he believes what he thinks he is, I have heard

"Damn, now Ive got to pretend Im not enlightened, come to think of it, Id have to pretend I am, Im starting to get the shame bit - lols"

Some are willing to pretend, but that is rare, he in my dumbass eyes, he doesn't see this, and doesn't mention how scary the admittance that one doesn't reallly know who, what, where, why one is, amidst reality is terrifying and goes on and on, and that honesty kicks in a finding out IMO. IT takes along time too, not weeks, not months, a year or even two.  So anyone who says it isn't really like this, IMO, hasn't really started, they are dreaming they are awake, perhaps have reached a sense of ONE-ness and assumed that its job all done, I really do not feel he is in the position to say how it really is, and in no way of any real help. HEs into it for the gig, the bucks, the platform, he'd be treated like a king. not by me and a few others I see, and that is no big deal really, because if it isn't mooji, its some other prick, I am not against all of them, I feel there is something to discover but he aint done yet, and of course this is just another dumbasses opinion,    If one has taken this journey and kept on going in spite of what THOUGHT might suggest, then that person may be able to be of some value, but it is rare, and the stupid thing is, it shouldn't be, as its our situation, weird, anyway, dumbass signing off.

there is something that is known when one has gone through this, found, done, whatever way you call it, and if someone posed that question, that hint to me, Id be thrilled, because Id know they must know, to of hinted or stated such a thing, this is why i feel I am correct with Mr Mooji, he has stopped most do, he has gone far, but if you stop, its really as if you've not gone at all. I am not suggesting the gateless gate bit either, I am suggesting if you do not manipulate what you are, in anyway, then something shows itself, taps you on the shoulder and destroys your world, YOU, yet your still around WEIRD, but ultimately true.
